Afghanistan, Sept. 29 -- Pakistan's envoy Mohammad Sadiq Khan met Iranian officials in Tehran, discussing security, terrorism, and Afghanistan's future, stressing a coordinated regional approach amid worsening Pakistan-Taliban ties.

Pakistan's Special Representative for Afghanistan, Mohammad Sadiq Khan, has said that regional security and Afghanistan's future were the focus of his talks in Tehran with senior Iranian officials.

Khan met Mohammad Reza Bahrami, Director General for South Asia at Iran's Foreign Ministry, during his visit and discussed a wide range of issues concerning Afghanistan.
