Afghanistan, March 24 -- UNICEF has reported that more than 2,100 children have been killed or injured since the start of the war in the Middle East, highlighting the growing humanitarian crisis.
According to the report on Tuesday, 206 children have been killed in Iran, 118 in Lebanon, 4 in Israel, and 1 in Kuwait during the ongoing conflict.
UNICEF added that, on average, around 87 children per day have been killed or injured since the war began, warning that the toll is likely to rise if violence continues.
The agency also highlighted massive displacement in Iran, where about 3.2 million people have been forced from their homes, including nearly 864,000 children.
