Afghanistan, Sept. 23 -- Ousmane Dembele won his first Ballon d'Or in Paris, while Spain's Aitana Bonmati made history with her third consecutive women's award.

Paris Saint-Germain and France forward Ousmane Dembele won the 2025 Ballon d'Or on Monday night at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris. The award marks the first of his professional career.

Spanish star Aitana Bonmati of Barcelona was also honored, securing the women's Ballon d'Or for the third consecutive year and making history in the process.

Dembele's recognition follows his most prolific season to date. The 28-year-old forward scored 35 goals and delivered 16 assists in 53 matches for PSG, establishing himself as one of Europe's most decisive players.
