Afghanistan, Aug. 1 -- North Korea on Saturday accused NATO of preparing for future conflicts by expanding military fuel infrastructure across Europe, while the alliance says its defence buildup is aimed at strengthening deterrence after Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
According to Reuters, North Korea's state news agency KCNA published an analysis criticizing NATO's "Fuel Supply Chain" programme, which Pyongyang said would create a roughly 10,000-kilometre fuel network linking Western European countries with newer NATO members in eastern and northern Europe.
North Korea claimed the project was designed to support possible military operations beyond Europe, but did not provide evidence to support the allegation.
