Afghanistan, July 19 -- New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani said legal officials are reviewing the ICC warrant against Benjamin Netanyahu ahead of a possible U.N. visit.
New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani said his administration is reviewing the legal implications of the International Criminal Court's (ICC) arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ahead of his possible visit to New York for the United Nations General Assembly.
Speaking on a New York Times podcast, Mamdani said he believes Netanyahu "belongs in The Hague" and confirmed that the city's legal department is examining the ICC warrant to determine what legal authority, if any, New York City would have if the Israeli leader enters the city.
