Afghanistan, Aug. 15 -- Elon Musk plans to spend at least $100 million to help increase Republican voter turnout in the November U.S. midterm elections, part of a renewed political alliance with President Donald Trump, The Wall Street Journal reported.
The Wall Street Journal reported Friday, August 14, 2026, citing people familiar with the matter, that Musk has recommitted to Republican political efforts after a bitter public split with Trump last year. The newspaper reported that Musk's focus is on encouraging Trump supporters who typically vote in presidential elections to participate in the midterms as well.
