Afghanistan, Aug. 11 -- Zabihullah Mujahid said there is no information about the whereabouts of Afghan-American businessman Mahmood Shah Habibi, who disappeared in Kabul in 2022, as the United States continues to demand information about his fate and offers a reward of up to $5 million for information leading to his recovery and return.
Mujahid said in a video message on Tuesday that Habibi was not in Taliban custody, adding that if he were being held by the group, the issue would have been resolved. His remarks came as the case entered its fourth year without confirmed information about Habibi's fate.
