Afghanistan, Aug. 10 -- Britain's MI6 has been ranked as Europe's most powerful intelligence service in a new survey of current and former intelligence officials, with France's Directorate-General for External Security (DGSE) in second place and the Netherlands' intelligence service taking third.
The ranking was compiled by French weekly L'Express, which interviewed 60 serving and former intelligence officers from 25 intelligence organisations. Sixteen of those interviewed had served as current or former heads of an intelligence agency, according to Ynet.
