Afghanistan, March 2 -- The Afghanistan Media Support Organization (AMSO) has expressed serious concern over the situation of Afghan journalists currently residing in Iran and Pakistan.

In a statement issued Monday, the organization said that US-Israeli attacks on Iran, along with rising tensions between the Taliban and Pakistan, have placed Afghan journalists in increasingly difficult and uncertain conditions.

AMSO reported that over the past two days, two Afghan journalists were arrested in Pakistan and are reportedly facing forced deportation back to Afghanistan.
