A 31-year-old man has been charged with attempting to assassinate Donald Trump following a shooting incident linked to the White House Correspondents' Dinner in Washington, D.C..
Prosecutors said the suspect, Cole Thomas Allen, brought multiple weapons to the venue and allegedly targeted Trump, calling him a "traitor" in prior communications, according to court filings.
