Afghanistan, June 3 -- Kuwait said its air defense systems intercepted hostile missiles and drones on Tuesday night, as explosions were heard across parts of the country amid heightened regional tensions linked to the conflict involving the United States, Israel and Iran.
The Kuwaiti military said the explosions reported in several areas were the result of interception operations carried out by the country's air defense forces, according to the state news agency KUNA.
The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces urged residents to follow safety instructions and avoid approaching debris or unidentified objects that may have fallen during the interceptions.
