Afghanistan, May 29 -- Dmitry Peskov said Europe cannot play a mediating role in the Ukraine war because European countries remain directly involved in supporting Kyiv militarily and politically.
According to Russian state news agency reports on Friday, the Kremlin also welcomed remarks by Viktor Orban opposing additional deliveries of weapons and military equipment to Ukraine.
Peskov stated that European-made weapons continue to be used in attacks against Russia, adding that Moscow therefore cannot view Europe as a neutral or balanced intermediary in the conflict.
