Afghanistan, Oct. 3 -- King Salman Humanitarian Aid Center has launched emergency relief in eastern Afghanistan, distributing 2,000 temporary shelters to quake-hit families in Kunar, Nangarhar, and Laghman provinces.
The Saudi Arabian Embassy in Kabul has announced the launch of an emergency relief project to support survivors of the recent earthquake in eastern Afghanistan. The initiative includes the distribution of 2,000 temporary shelters to families affected in Kunar, Nangarhar, and Laghman provinces.
In a statement issued on Friday, the embassy said the assistance is being carried out through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, the leading Saudi relief body.
