Afghanistan, June 7 -- North Korea has ruled out any possibility of abandoning its nuclear weapons program, with Kim Yo Jong, the influential sister of leader Kim Jong Un, declaring that the country's status as a nuclear power is "final and irreversible" ahead of Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to Pyongyang.
According to the state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), Kim Yo Jong rejected claims that the United States and China had reached a common position on North Korea's denuclearization, describing such suggestions as false and detached from reality.
