Afghanistan, April 15 -- The Taliban said it has sent more than 500 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Gaza through Egypt's Rafah crossing, including food, clothing, and essential supplies.
The foreign ministry said on April 15 that the aid, transported in 42 trucks, has entered Gaza and is expected to be distributed among around 22,000 Palestinian families facing severe shortages.
Deputy spokesman Zia Ahmad Takal said the assistance, valued at about $500,000, was procured by Taliban representatives in Egypt as part of ongoing humanitarian support efforts.
