Israeli strikes on shelters for displaced families in Gaza killed at least eight people in Khan Younis and four more in Deir al-Balah, hospital officials confirmed.
Al Jazeera reported on Tuesday, August 19, that Israeli forces also demolished homes in southern Gaza, while heavy gunfire in eastern Gaza City left 21 people dead.
