Afghanistan, June 25 -- Israeli forces remain deployed in all areas of Lebanese territory they occupied during recent fighting, a Lebanese military source said, contradicting earlier suggestions that Israeli troops had withdrawn from parts of a buffer zone along the border.
According to the source, Israeli forces have not pulled back from sections of southern Lebanon captured during military operations linked to the conflict with Hezbollah. The comments were reported by Al Jazeera Media Network on Thursday.
