Israeli forces killed 11 members of a Palestinian family in Gaza City after firing on a civilian vehicle, local officials and media reported on Saturday.
According to Al Jazeera, the attack occurred Friday evening in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City, when Israeli tanks opened fire on a car carrying members of the Abu Shaban family.
Health authorities in Gaza said the victims included seven children and three women. The family was reportedly returning home to assess damage from recent clashes.
