Afghanistan, Oct. 6 -- Israel is preparing to deport Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg and dozens of international volunteers detained after attempting to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza by sea.

More than 70 foreign activists detained by Israeli forces after attempting to sail humanitarian aid to Gaza are set to leave Israel for Greece on Monday, officials and media reports said. Among them is Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg.

The group was detained last week when the Israeli navy intercepted the Samoud ("Steadfastness") flotilla, accusing it of attempting to breach the long-standing naval blockade on Gaza.
