Afghanistan, July 28 -- Israel and Lebanon will resume technical talks in Rome on August 4 as part of US-backed efforts to implement a framework aimed at reducing border tensions and strengthening long-term security, a US State Department official said, according to Agence France-Presse.
Technical teams from the two countries are expected to meet in the Italian capital to discuss the next phase of the framework, including expanding pilot implementation areas, addressing outstanding border issues and advancing broader security arrangements, the official said.
