Afghanistan, June 13 -- Iran launched several attack drones toward commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said, despite ongoing negotiations between Washington and Tehran aimed at ending the conflict.

U.S. forces intercepted and shot down several Iranian attack drones that were heading toward the Strait of Hormuz and posed a potential threat to commercial shipping, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters.
