Afghanistan, March 24 -- Abbas Araghchi held a telephone call with Cho Hyun to discuss bilateral relations and the ongoing conflict involving Iran.
According to Iran's foreign ministry, Cho expressed condolences to the Iranian people and raised concerns about the impact of US and Israeli attacks on Iran, particularly their effect on the global economy.
Araghchi said the current instability in the region, including rising tensions in the Strait of Hormuz, is a direct result of military actions by the United States and Israel.
He stressed that Iran would firmly defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity, warning that security conditions in the region remain fragile amid ongoing strikes and counterattacks.
