Afghanistan, May 18 -- Iran has delivered a revised 14-point proposal to the United States through Pakistani mediation, Iranian media reported Monday, as indirect negotiations between Tehran and Washington continue.

According to Tasnim News Agency, the updated proposal was handed to US officials through a Pakistani intermediary after Washington responded to an earlier Iranian draft containing 14 points.

An informed Iranian source said the new document includes revisions focused on negotiations, ending the conflict and confidence-building measures expected from the United States.

The report comes as Syed Mohsin Naqvi arrived in Tehran for meetings with senior Iranian officials during a two-day visit.
