Afghanistan, March 25 -- Iran has ruled out any direct negotiations with the United States, with Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Baghaei saying Tehran's recent experience with US diplomacy has been "disastrous."
In an interview with India Today, Baghaei said no one could trust American diplomacy after Iran was attacked twice while nuclear talks were still under way, calling it a betrayal of the diplomatic process.
He rejected claims of any current direct talks between Tehran and Washington, saying Iran's immediate priority is defending its territory and maintaining national security as military tensions continue.
