Afghanistan, April 13 -- Alireza Bikdeli, acting head of Iran Embassy in Kabul, said more than 100,000 tons of goods have been transported between Iran and Afghanistan by rail since the start of the current year.
The embassy said on Monday that Bikdeli made the remarks during a visit to the Rozanak railway station in western Afghanistan, where he described trade and cargo movement between the two countries as stable and progressing positively.
He noted that the Rozanak station plays a key role in bilateral trade, adding that operations have continued smoothly despite concerns about disruptions caused by the ongoing regional conflict.
