Afghanistan, June 11 -- Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said on Thursday it launched 12 ballistic missiles at the U.S. air base and command center in Al Azraq, Jordan, claiming the attack was carried out in retaliation for recent American strikes on targets inside Iran.

According to Iranian state-affiliated media, the missiles targeted facilities used by U.S. forces, including areas where F-35, F-15 and F-16 fighter jets were stationed. The IRGC also claimed that several military installations at the base were hit, although the extent of any damage could not be independently verified.
