Afghanistan, June 2 -- Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said any future agreement to end hostilities between Iran and the United States must include a halt to military operations across all fronts, particularly in Lebanon.

Ghalibaf made the remarks during a conversation with Nabih Berri, Speaker of the Parliament of Lebanon, on Monday, according to Iranian media reports.

He said continued Israeli military operations in Lebanon would not only jeopardize ongoing diplomatic efforts but could also prompt a stronger response from Tehran.

"The ceasefire must apply to all fronts," Ghalibaf said, adding that attacks against Lebanon could undermine efforts to reach a broader regional settlement.
