Afghanistan, July 16 -- Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said on Wednesday that Tehran's peace memorandum with the United States would remain valid only if all of its provisions were fully implemented, warning that Iran would have no reason to uphold the agreement if it did not benefit from its terms.

Speaking in remarks carried by Iranian state media, Ghalibaf said Iran's commitment to the memorandum was conditional on reciprocal implementation, adding that Tehran would not remain bound by an agreement that, in his view, failed to protect the country's interests.
