Afghanistan, Aug. 10 -- Iran has vowed to block the U.S.-brokered Zangezur Corridor linking Azerbaijan and Turkey via Armenia, citing concerns over geopolitical changes and exclusive U.S. development rights.
Iran has declared firm opposition to the proposed Zangezur Corridor, a key element in a U.S.-brokered peace deal between Armenia and Azerbaijan mediated under the President Donald Trump.
The planned route would pass through southern Armenia, connecting Azerbaijan to its Nakhchivan exclave and then to Turkey. Under the agreement, exclusive development rights would be granted to the United States.
