Afghanistan, July 24 -- Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Friday that Tehran supports efforts to build a secure and stable Afghanistan with an inclusive government.
Araghchi made the remarks at a meeting of foreign ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Kyrgyzstan, where developments in Afghanistan were among the issues discussed, Iran's state-run Islamic Republic News Agency reported.
Araghchi said Afghanistan remained one of the most important shared security and development issues among members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
Citing Iran's "deep historical, cultural and civilizational ties" with the Afghanistan people, Araghchi said Tehran supported any initiative aimed at creating a secure, stable ...
