A report by the Reuters citing informed sources says that Iran has allowed oil tankers flying the flag of India to pass through the Strait of Hormuz despite earlier tensions surrounding maritime traffic in the region.

According to the report published on Thursday, 12 March, an Indian source said the passage of Indian vessels followed discussions between the foreign ministers of Iran and India.
