Afghanistan, Sept. 15 -- The International Organization for Migration warned Afghanistan faces a triple crisis of mass migrant returns, shrinking aid, and devastating natural disasters, leaving millions vulnerable to poverty.

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has warned that sharp reductions in foreign funding have forced it to scale back assistance for vulnerable Afghans returning from Iran and Pakistan.

In a report released on Monday, the agency said nearly two million Afghans have returned from the two neighboring countries this year alone, many through forced deportations.
