Afghanistan, June 10 -- An exhibition in London will showcase the experiences, struggles and resilience of Afghan women and girls during Refugee Week 2026.
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) said a free exhibition marking Refugee Week 2026 will be held from June 12 to 23 at Southwark Cathedral in London. The event aims to highlight the stories of Afghan women and girls through photography, personal testimonies and artwork.
IOM said Afghan women have borne the brunt of recent restrictions on their rights and freedoms. The exhibition will focus on both those still living under severe limitations in Afghanistan and those rebuilding their lives in the United Kingdom after displacement.
