Afghanistan, Aug. 6 -- Indonesia has donated $3.5 million to WFP to provide fortified biscuits for 200,000 Afghan schoolchildren, aiming to improve nutrition, learning, and school attendance.
The World Food Programme (WFP) announced on Wednesday, August 6, that it has received a $3.5 million contribution from Indonesia to support school feeding initiatives in Afghanistan.
According to WFP's statement on social media platform X, the funding will provide food for around 200,000 primary school students-both girls and boys-for a three-month period.
