Afghanistan, Aug. 15 -- India is seeking to further strengthen its longstanding ties with Afghanistan and expand cooperation in areas including development, trade and regional connectivity, Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said.
Jaiswal said recent meetings and visits between officials from the two countries have created opportunities to expand bilateral engagement and cooperation. He said India wants to further strengthen its relationship with Kabul and sees greater interaction as a means of advancing shared interests.
