Afghanistan, July 14 -- India has delivered a consignment of family tents to Afghanistan's Taliban-run Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation to support Afghan families returning from neighboring countries amid a growing humanitarian crisis.
The announcement was made on Tuesday by Randhir Jaiswal, spokesperson for India's Ministry of External Affairs, who said the tents were provided to assist the settlement and rehabilitation of returning refugees.
In a post on X, Jaiswal said the assistance forms part of India's ongoing humanitarian support for the Afghanistan people and is intended to help meet the urgent shelter needs of vulnerable families returning to the country.
