Afghanistan, Feb. 13 -- A new legal report says imprisoned former prime minister Imran Khan has lost most vision in his right eye, triggering urgent medical and political debate across Pakistan.

Khan's lawyer revealed that he has lost nearly eighty-five percent of vision in his right eye, raising fresh concerns about his health while serving a lengthy prison sentence.

Defense attorney Salman Safdar informed Supreme Court of Pakistan that Khan complained for months about blurred and foggy vision without receiving timely medical intervention.

The medical concerns emerged after a two-hour court-approved meeting between lawyer and client, prompting judges to instruct authorities to facilitate access to Khan's personal doctors quickly.
