Afghanistan, May 3 -- Hezbollah said its fighters carried out a series of targeted attacks against Israeli forces positioned inside Lebanon, signaling continued escalation along the border.

In a statement, the group said the operations began Saturday and involved suicide drones and artillery strikes targeting multiple frontline Israeli positions.

Hezbollah said it struck two separate gatherings of Israeli troops and vehicles in the town of Bayyada, including a drone attack on forces inside a residential building.

The group added it deployed another explosive drone against what it described as an Israeli anti-tank missile position using "Gil-Spike" systems in the same area.
