Afghanistan, Sept. 24 -- G7 foreign ministers urged Iran to uphold its Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty obligations, resume full cooperation with the IAEA, and re-engage Washington in comprehensive nuclear negotiations.

Foreign ministers of the Group of Seven nations have pressed Iran to comply with its obligations under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and return to full cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). They insisted Tehran must re-engage in direct talks with Washington to achieve a comprehensive and durable nuclear agreement.
