Afghanistan, April 18 -- Shapoor Zadran, a former Afghan cricketer, is undergoing medical treatment in India, as players rallying support as his condition remains uncertain.
Zadran had been hospitalised for several weeks and initially showed signs of improvement, but was later readmitted, according to officials familiar with his condition.
Mirwais Ashraf said the Afghanistan Cricket Board has provided financial assistance and facilitated his treatment abroad.
Leading Afghanistan cricketer Rashid Khan said he was ready to offer any support during what he described as a difficult time, reflecting widespread concern within the cricket community.
