Afghanistan, May 29 -- Hungry Gaza residents stormed a UN food warehouse, causing at least four deaths amid worsening famine and severe humanitarian shortages.

Al Jazeera news network reported that hungry residents of Gaza Strip stormed a World Food Programme (WFP) warehouse, resulting in at least four deaths and multiple injuries. The warehouse contained vital food supplies meant for distribution among displaced people and was attacked amid a worsening hunger crisis in Gaza on Wednesday, May 28.

Eyewitnesses described chaotic scenes at the warehouse, with crowds pushing and shoving in desperation. The disorder led to some people being trampled or fatally injured during the melee.
