Afghanistan, April 7 -- Five members of an Afghan migrant family were killed in an overnight strike on Shahriar, west of Tehran, an Iranian local official said, as reports of civilian casualties continued to emerge from the conflict.
Iran's Tasnim news agency reported that the deputy political and security chief of Shahriar said the strike hit residential areas at around 3:10 a.m. on Monday, killing the father, mother and their three children, aged 3, 11 and 13.
The same official said four Iranian citizens were also killed in the attack. He added that three houses were completely destroyed, while four other homes and several vehicles were heavily damaged.
