Afghanistan, May 28 -- European Commission announced that the European Union will allocate more than 28 billion euros to support Ukraine's military needs as Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities intensify.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said after a phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that Europe would continue its military, financial and political backing for Kyiv.
Von der Leyen said Russia had increased military pressure on Ukraine in recent weeks and stressed that the EU remained committed to strengthening Ukraine's defence capabilities and economic resilience.
The latest package comes as Ukraine faces a renewed wave of Russian missile and drone attacks targeting Kyiv and several other regions. Uk...
