Afghanistan, April 27 -- A source reports deadly border clashes with Pakistani forces in Kandahar, amid ongoing tensions and stalled negotiations between both sides.

A local source aligned with the Taliban in Kandahar said clashes erupted overnight along the border in Spin Boldak, claiming that six Pakistani soldiers were killed during the confrontation.

The source further alleged that one Pakistani soldier was captured and another body was recovered by Taliban forces, although these claims have not been independently verified.
