Afghanistan, March 14 -- Wang Yi has urged Pakistan and the Taliban administration to resolve their growing tensions through dialogue following recent clashes along the border.

According to China's Foreign Ministry, Wang made the call during a phone conversation with Amir Khan Muttaqi, stressing that disputes between the two sides should be addressed through consultation and negotiation.

The Chinese statement warned that continued tensions could complicate the situation and threaten regional peace and stability if the conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan continues to escalate.
