Afghanistan, Oct. 20 -- China accused the United States of cyber breaches targeting its National Time Centre, alleging U.S. hackers stole sensitive data and threatened critical communication and power systems.

China has accused the United States' National Security Agency (NSA) of conducting long-term cyberattacks against its National Time Service Center, a facility critical to the country's communications, energy, and financial systems.

The Chinese Ministry of State Security said on Sunday that the NSA had infiltrated the center's internal network, stealing confidential data and gaining access to employees' mobile devices through a foreign messaging app's security flaw in 2022.
