Afghanistan, June 1 -- Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Monday that the ceasefire agreement between Iran and the United States must apply to all fronts, including Lebanon, warning that any violation would undermine the entire truce.
In a statement posted on social media, Araghchi said that "a ceasefire violated on one front is violated on all fronts," adding that both the United States and Israel would bear responsibility for any breach of the agreement.
The remarks came after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he had ordered the Israeli military to strike targets in Beirut's southern suburbs, an area widely regarded as a Hezbollah stronghold.
