Afghanistan, May 24 -- A 100-member delegation of Afghan traders, exporters and private sector representatives traveled to Uzbekistan on Saturday to strengthen economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries.
The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment said the delegation, led by Aryan Zelgi Azimi, arrived in the city of Namangan for meetings with Uzbek officials and business leaders.
According to the chamber, the visit aims to expand bilateral trade, explore joint investment opportunities and increase exports and imports between private sector companies in Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.
