Afghanistan, Oct. 31 -- Afghanistan's envoy in Islamabad has warned that the situation for Afghan refugees in Pakistan is worsening rapidly, urging authorities to halt deportations and reopen border crossings immediately.

The Taliban's ambassador to Pakistan, Sardar Ahmad Shakib, has warned that the closure of key border crossings has severely worsened conditions for Afghan refugees stranded inside Pakistan. He urged Islamabad to temporarily suspend deportations until crossings reopen to ease mounting humanitarian pressures.
