Afghanistan, May 11 -- Afghanistan and Uzbekistan signed 13 cooperation agreements during a joint trade and business forum attended by officials from both countries and representatives of the private sector.
The meeting brought together acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, Nooruddin Azizi, senior Uzbek officials, sectoral chambers of commerce and business leaders from both countries.
Azizi said economic and trade relations between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan had moved beyond discussions and entered what he described as a phase of practical cooperation and commercial activity.
